Eine neue MuPiBox NG Alpha ist verfügbar: 0.2.0-alpha.22. Hier findest du die Änderungen und Fehlerbehebungen dieser Version.
Was ist neu?
FIX – One shared touchscreen navigation bar
- The installed Community App view now uses the normal MuPiBox status/back/title bar as its ONLY host navigation strip. The extra WebEngine header is removed.
- The embedded game viewport starts below that strip. Native Back navigation stays available and never covers a game title or touch controls.
- Plugin content remains contained in the regular 800×480 logical viewport, preserving touch orientation and scaling on wider panels.
NEW – Permission-gated native plugin music notes
- The web-based Klang-Memory v0.1.1 uses MuPiBoxSDK.audio.playNote(note, volume, instrument) rather than Chromium WebAudio, which has no session connection to MuPiBox's dedicated PipeWire audio transport.
- The host renders approved musical notes via the SAME piano/musicbox synthesizer and PipeWire stream used by the original built-in QML games. No external PulseAudio server or separate browser sound daemon is required.
- The host checks each app's explicit audio permission, the Games service and parental playback rules, supported notes/instruments, anti-flood rate limiting and the box startup/max volume settings.
- Startup volume remains relative to the maximum allowed volume: e.g. startup 50%, max 50% caps the effective synth volume at 25%.
- The bridge implements the audio.note method with its existing host isolation: app content never gains direct access to audio devices or admin credentials.
UPDATED CATALOG APP – Klang-Memory 0.1.1
- Available as a manual Update in the official GitHub plugin catalog (public SDK preview v0.1.0-preview.4). The app ID and saved best score are unchanged.
- On the Pi touchscreen, Klang-Memory has a compact, height-responsive layout with all four pads, score and bottom controls visible without a scrollbar.
- Tested on Raspberry Pi 4 Box 85 in an isolated Qt WebEngine viewport exactly 800×400: document scroll height 400, last pad bottom 354.
- Previous 0.1.0 releases still use Chromium WebAudio and will remain silent in the existing audio setup; update the plugin after updating NG.
UNCHANGED
- Tic Tac Toe v0.1.0 and the original native Klang-Memory remain available.
- MuPi und die verlorenen Noten stays integrated in the NG core.
- The GitHub catalog, developer upload, per-app storage, controller input, parental checks, update fixes and other alpha.21 features are unchanged.
LIMITATIONS
- This audio API plays discrete musical notes (C4 to C5), not general web music, microphone input or media streams. Full automatic WebAudio/PipeWire routing is not implemented.
- A newer app is shown as an Update but not installed without explicit approval. Back up settings before updating NG.
TESTS
- Plugin SDK JS tests cover hosted audio calls, invalid parameters and browser fallback. SDK Python packaging/catalog tests pass.
- NG tests cover audio permission isolation, malicious arguments, local-only touch bridge, note throttling and relative startup/max-volume limits.
- MuPiBox native note API on box 85 returned 202 Accepted and the dedicated PipeWire sound bus is available.
- Real WebEngine 800×400 layout test on box 85 showed no vertical overflow. End-to-end on-device plugin audio is validated after deployment.
