Eine neue MuPiBox NG Alpha ist verfügbar: 0.2.0-alpha.15. Hier findest du die Änderungen und Fehlerbehebungen dieser Version.
Was ist neu?
Changes since 0.2.0-alpha.14 (testing release)
NEW – Expert-mode spreadsheet editor for content
- Edit media sources and categories in an Excel-like grid under Admin > Content > Categories and media.
- Use provider-aware dropdowns for providers, source types, category assignment, display modes, offline cache settings and sorting instead of typing internal configuration values.
- Move media within a category or into another category using controls and drag-and-drop. Reordering switches the affected category to manual ordering. Referenced mixed-collection members are protected from invalid moves.
- Paste tabular data from spreadsheets and import/export CSV and JSON; drafts are validated and require explicit confirmation before saving. Existing media IDs and other language labels are retained.
NEW – Better sorting for albums and audio dramas
- Choose alphabetical A–Z/Z–A, natural alphanumeric ordering (episode 2 before 10), numeric episode ordering (ascending/descending), manual order or date order per media source.
- Spotify artist albums can use their actual release date; other sources use their available added-at date, not a claimed release date. Missing dates sort after dated entries.
- Natural sorting and numeric episode ordering now work in the backend rather than merely being accepted configuration values.
- The normal content configuration screen and the Expert spreadsheet offer the new choices; category-level ordering retains its compatible alphabetical/manual options.
NEW – Upload local audio from the Admin UI
- Upload audio files directly into configured local-media folders through the Admin interface, including drag-and-drop, progress feedback and supported folder structures. No Samba copy is required for supported content.
- Upload handling validates destinations and file types, prevents unsafe path escapes, and reports individual errors.
NEW – Bluetooth headset battery indicator
- Show headset battery percentage in the output selection and touchscreen status area where BlueZ provides a reliable value.
- Missing or unsupported battery data stays hidden. Battery information updates as the device state changes.
FIXED / IMPROVED
- Version and cache handling for the new spreadsheet assets, so updated Admin JavaScript and styles are served together with the release.
- Safer spreadsheet validation and provider-dependent choices. Existing records can be rearranged without changing their IDs or source references.
- Localized labels and content-editor actions for all seven supported Admin languages.
Validation and remaining limits
- Go tests for server, store and connectivity; content-editor, upload, navigation, and Bluetooth UI tests; syntax and release verification are part of the validation procedure.
- The updated runtime has been deployed to a Raspberry Pi test box, where the backend, touchscreen and Admin UI started successfully. This does not constitute exhaustive hardware acceptance.
- Bluetooth battery reporting depends on the headset and BlueZ. True release-date sorting is only possible when the provider supplies that metadata. Audio playback, Spotify handoff and unusual touchscreen configurations still require community testing.
- Back up your MuPiBox before updating and report reproducible issues with hardware details and a diagnostic ZIP.
